Wes Hudgens joined the PoweringFlorida team in 2022, after spending more than 11 years as a member of FPL’s external affairs team serving the state’s Panhandle region. In his role with the economic development team, he assists businesses in the identification of sites and buildings, electric and infrastructure assessments, incentives and clean energy programs.
Wes is currently on the board at ReadyKids!, serves on the Development Advisory Council for the United Way of West Florida, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals West Florida Chapter, Seville Rotary and the Nonprofit Advisory Council for Pensacola State College’s Nonprofit Center for Excellence & Philanthropy.
Wes graduated from Florida State University. He is a native of Pensacola, where he lives today.
