Mary Garcia is a communication specialist at Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and supports 35 Mules, an innovation hub powered by FPL, that helps move Florida’s growing economy forward through innovation and small business.
Previously, Mary worked at Gunster, the largest business law firm in Florida, to support marketing and communication efforts, from media relations and brand advertising to internal communications. She also worked at The Boca Raton (formerly Boca Raton Resort & Club), as marketing manager, where she oversaw marketing and communication efforts for two Waldorf Astoria hotels and its private club membership. Mary has event and public relations experience in both an agency and in-house setting, serving clients in legal, hospitality and energy industries.
Mary is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. Mary and her husband Eddie live in North Palm Beach.
