Port Panama City's Intermodal Distribution Center (IDC) is located adjacent to U.S. Highway 231, 15 miles north of Panama City, Florida. The IDC is home to the nationally known logistics company, FedEx Ground, who recently constructed a 251K SF distribution center and Aadvantage Relocation Inc., who occupies an additional 250K SF.

The park offers two pad ready sites: a 52-acre industrial site with rail access and a 30-acre logistics/distribution site with rail access and adjacent to an existing bulk transfer station. All utilities are in place, including a master stormwater system.

Port Panama City is strategically positioned on the Gulf of Mexico and is one of the closest U.S. ports to the Panama Canal. The Port has posted double-digit growth over the past five years and handles a wide variety of cargo. Assets include six berths, 4,200 ft. of deep-water berthing (36’ mean depth), six acres of open storage on site and over 300 acres designated as Foreign Trade Zone 65 (FTZ65). Port Panama City is also equipped with modern loading and unloading facilities for truck, rail, barge, container, RO-RO vessel and deep-water vessel traffic. The Gulf Intracoastal Waterway is located adjacent to the Port and offers shipment capability via barge to major ports along the Gulf Coast.

Rail Access

The Bay Line Railroad, a short line operated by Genesee & Wyoming, provides five-day-a-week freight service connecting Port Panama City to CSX Transportation in Cottondale, FL and Dothan, AL. The Bay Line also connects to Norfolk Southern in Dothan, AL. These stations provide connections to Atlanta, GA, the Midwest and Northeast U.S.
