Monique Mendez is an Associate Communications Specialist at Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and supports 35 Mules, an innovation hub powered by FPL, with strategic marketing and social media efforts.
Previously, Monique interned with NextEra Energy, where she oversaw communication efforts for FPL’s hurricane relief campaign and worked on product marketing with FPL Energy Services. She also interned with Curley & Pynn Public Relations Management, an award-winning agency in Orlando, to support media relations efforts. Monique has public relations experience in both agency and in-house settings, serving clients in the energy and technology industries.
Monique is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.
