In 2023, Michelle joined Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) in the Power Delivery business unit. She moved to the Office of Economic Development in 2025 where she now serves as Lead Economic Development Project Manager. In this role, she works to diversify Florida’s economy by facilitating business attraction and expansion efforts with a focus on data centers. Michelle assists businesses in the identification of sites and buildings, electric and infrastructure assessments, incentives and clean energy programs.

Prior to joining FPL, Michelle served as the Assistant County Engineer for Martin County, Florida where she gained critical knowledge of governmental procedures, rules and regulations. She developed connections with other jurisdictional partners and land developers around Florida. Specializing in stormwater management, site layout and transportation design, Michelle’s technical expertise is valuable for PoweringFlorida.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the Florida State University and is a Professional Engineer licensed in the state of Florida. She volunteers her free time on non-profit boards including Habitat for Humanity of Martin County Young Professionals and Stuart Main Street and is a coach for South Fork High School Track and Field Team. A South Florida native, Michelle resides in Stuart with her black cat named Binx.
