Dallas Burkhalter is a Lead Economic Development Project Manager 35 Mules, Florida Power & Light Company's (FPL) innovation hub that provides resources and support to startups with the goal of growing Florida's next generation of world-changing companies. Since 2020, the 35 Mules program has supported 20 startups who have received more than $47 million in investment, funding and grants and has provided a $75 million economic impact to Florida.
Since joining FPL in 2016 as a Sourcing II Specialist in Integrated Supply Chain. Since his original role, Dallas has held roles in materials management, streetlight conversion with smart node technology, AMI smart metering, sports lighting, and power delivery operations.
Dallas serves as an advisor for GrowFL and an ACP mentor. A native Floridian, Dallas holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in Economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
