What Florida Business Assistance Programs Are Available?
Beyond PoweringFlorida's resources, there are several grant programs available from state government and county governments to provide financial assistance to small businesses, including small business grants provided by the Small Business Administration (SBA). The Florida Small Business Development Center also offers training and consulting services to help entrepreneurs develop a business plan and determine their eligibility for funding opportunities. Small business owners can take advantage of no-cost economic development incentives, including the Economic Development Rider and the Commercial Industrial Rider, provided by the statewide government.
Additional Florida business assistance programs include small business loans available through lenders and the U.S. Small Business Administration's loan program. The local government’s chamber of commerce can provide valuable small business assistance and resources, including procurement assistance and access to financial assistance programs.
