Mary Dempsey joined FPL in November 2012 to support the company’s economic development efforts.
She joined FPL from Northwood University in West Palm Beach where she served as regional admissions representative responsible for marketing, recruiting and enrollment for various degree programs. Mary also served as market director for Coastal Market Graphics, LLC, (CMG) a real estate market research company that tracks more than 1,800 residential developments on the Georgia and South Carolina coasts. Through CMG, Mary served and advised more than 65 clients including national, regional and local developers, banks and builders, national retailers, investment firms, hospitals and municipalities.
Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Alabama. She resides in Georgia with her husband and two children.
