The park offers two pad ready sites: a 52-acre industrial site with rail access and a 30-acre logistics/distribution site with rail access and adjacent to an existing bulk transfer station. All utilities are in place, including a master stormwater system.
Why Port Panama City?
1. Triumph Gulf Coast Grant Eligible - 1 of 8 communities eligible to receive Triumph Gulf Coast Grant Funds to support economic development projects. 2. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) - Located approximately 20 miles from the site. Served by American, Delta, Southwest, and United Airlines. 3. Port Panama City - Two terminals, with 6 berths totaling 4,200 ft of deep-water berthing with 36’ mean depth. Foreign Trade Zone #65 established. 4. Bay Line Railroad - A short line rail operated by Genesee & Wyoming, provides five-day-a-week freight service, connecting to both CSX and Norfolk Southern Terminals which provide service to Atlanta, the Midwest and Northeast U.S. 6. Bay-Walton Sector Plan - A 110,000-acre master-planned development anchored by the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, supporting industrial, commercial, retail, residential and amenity uses, all while dedicating 53,229 acres or 48% to conservation and preservation areas. 7. Tyndall Air Force Base - Headquarters to the Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, which has the sole responsibility for ensuring the air sovereignty and air defense for the continental United States, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Currently being reconstructed as the “Installation of the Future”, with construction costs exceeding $5B. 8. Naval Support Activity Panama City (NSA PC) - Home to Naval Surface Warfare Center – Panama City Division, Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, Navy Experiment Diving Unit and U.S. Coast Guard Station Panama City. 9. 5 higher education institutions including: Florida State University - Panama City (Tier 1 Research University), Gulf Coast State College, Haney Technical College (FAA Certified A&P Program), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Troy University.
